Day 1 Arrive in Auckland

After being met at the airport by your driver guide, you are taken to your 5 Star Waterfront Luxury Accommodation. Freshen up and after a short rest we will take you on a tour of the biggest city in New Zealand, Auckland City - the city of sails - built around the shores of two harbours, dotted with extinct volcanoes. Visit Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World and the America's Cup village at the viaduct basin. Evening dinner at the Orbit restaurant 328m atop the Sky Tower, tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere.

Day 2 Auckland - Russell

Auckland - Russell in the Bay of Islands Today, you are taken on a leisurely drive north via the splendid Kauri Museum, then through the 6250acre Waipoua Kauri forest to view magnificent Tane Mahuta, the largest Kauri tree alive. Arrive late afternoon at Russell in the Bay of Islands, familiarize yourselves with the rich history of Russell, which was once New Zealand's first Capital City in the 1800s. Enjoy an evening meal of the best cuisine with the finest selection of NZ (New Zealand) wine.

Day 3 Cape Brett Lighthouse

This morning you board a luxury catamaran for a cruise of the Bay of islands to Cape Brett Lighthouse, and the famous 'Hole in the Rock'. Join Nautilus, at Urupukapuka Island for a Subsea adventure to see the many species of marine life that abound these islands. Stroll through the local craft shops or wander along the waterfront, as you choose a dinner venue of your choice.

Day 4 Russell - Cape Reinga

Rise early to meet your 'Waverider' coach for the far North. Your driver must navigate unsealed roads, quicksand streams, and the rigors of Ninety-Mile beach. Views from Cape Reinga Lighthouse of the Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea colliding with impressive turbulence. Many stops along the way allow you to experience the rich history and living culture of Northland Maori and the European settlers - 'The Birthplace of the Nation'.

Day 5 Russell - Auckland

This morning pack all your treasures for their safe trip home. Travelling south, we stop off at Whangarei's town basin for a break, check out the craft and gift shops before arriving in Auckland. Visit quaint historic Devonport that bustles with cafes/restaurants and offers shopping in historic boutiques, trendy designer and craft stores. (Optional) Catch the ferry to Auckland City where your driver will meet and deliver you back to Auckland International Airport. Where New Zealand bids you farewell, with many happy memories and hopes to see you again, to share more of this country's beautiful experiences.
